LEARNER TERMS

Educational purpose

Courses support continuing learning within the learner's existing role. They do not replace professional registration, employer policies, supervised competency assessment, clinical judgement, emergency training or advice about a specific patient.

Certificates

A certificate records completion of the named online knowledge course and its stated assessment. It does not certify practical or clinical competence, professional registration, prescribing authority or employer authorisation.

Learner responsibilities

• Work within professional scope and local policy.
• Seek appropriate supervision and clinical review.
• Do not upload confidential or patient-identifiable information.
• Do not share paid access or reproduce materials without permission.
• Check the stated audience, level and outcomes before purchase.

Content

Clinical content is version-controlled and reviewed on a stated cycle. Material supports education and should be checked against current national guidance and local policy.

PRIVACY

Controller and contact

Ben Harper trading as TriageTrail Medical Academy is the data controller. Privacy enquiries may be sent to triagetrailacademy@proton.me.

Interactive course data

The ECG learning experience stores progress, assessment attempts and reflections in the browser's local storage. The interactive course does not transmit that information to TriageTrail. Clearing browser data removes it.

Purchases and course delivery

Payhip and connected payment providers will process identity, transaction and delivery information to perform the contract, meet legal obligations and operate the service. Payhip provides checkout and learner-account delivery. The payment methods shown at checkout are processed by Payhip and the selected payment provider under their respective privacy terms. Transaction records are retained for contractual, support, accounting and legal purposes.

Marketing

Marketing email requires a separate, positive opt-in or another documented lawful route. Purchase and pilot participation do not automatically enrol anyone. Every marketing message will identify TriageTrail and provide an unsubscribe route.

No clinical information

Do not enter names, dates of birth, record numbers, ECG images or other patient-identifiable information into reflections, forms or support messages.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATION

Digital access and consumer rights

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, customers may have a period in which to cancel. If immediate access to digital content is requested, checkout must capture the required acknowledgement about beginning supply and any effect on cancellation rights.

Faulty or misdescribed content

If purchased content is faulty, materially misdescribed or cannot be accessed after reasonable troubleshooting, email triagetrailacademy@proton.me with the order reference. TriageTrail will investigate and provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law. This policy does not limit statutory rights.

Goodwill review

Duplicate purchases and clear technical failures may be reviewed individually. Refund decisions follow this policy, the checkout terms and applicable consumer law.

ACCESSIBILITY

Learning should be usable

The website uses keyboard-operable navigation, semantic headings and forms, labelled reflection fields, a motion control and responsive layouts. A reflowable HTML workbook is available alongside the PDF.

Accessibility support

The public pages and course interfaces have passed automated structural checks. Manual testing and continuous improvement continue after release. Tell us if a format or interaction creates a barrier and we will provide reasonable support.
